Service area · Quintana, Texas
Quintana counted just 26 residents in the 2020 census, on a stretch of Gulf beach across the harbor entrance from Surfside Beach (Wikipedia). I’m Jen Duke, and if your family is one of the few who call it home, I photograph family, newborn, Fresh 48 and maternity sessions that give you photos to print and keep.
Newborn sessions are in my natural-light home studio in Richwood, by appointment. Family sessions can be at your home or outdoors, and Fresh 48 can be at the hospital or at home. Each session includes a digital gallery for downloading, sharing and ordering prints.

Local to Quintana
The town was founded as a port in the early 1800s and today offers miles of sandy Gulf beach just south of Freeport (Town of Quintana). Here’s how that shapes photo planning.
Quintana Beach County Park has a wooden fishing pier, hiking trails, a playground and pavilions (Town of Quintana). A pavilion’s edge is handy open shade for your own photos of a little one, with the bright beach behind.
Brazoria County repaired the park’s boardwalk and beach walkover and added an observation deck with signs about the area (Texas General Land Office). Walkways like these give toddlers somewhere safe to walk while you take photos.
The Neotropical Bird Sanctuary, built with the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory, has the Alongis Cornett Observation Deck, and the Quintana Jetty is a popular fishing spot (Town of Quintana). A kid’s first fish or first pair of binoculars is worth a photo. Shoot from the sand, not the rocks.
