The newborn weeks in League City go fast. One day you’re home from the hospital, and before long that tiny baby is crawling across the living room. I photograph maternity, Fresh 48, newborn and family sessions for parents who want those early days on the wall, with mom in the pictures too.
Newborn sessions happen in my natural-light home studio in Richwood. Fresh 48 can be in the hospital room or at home, and family sessions can be at your home or outdoors. Every session comes with a digital gallery you can download and print from.

Local to League City
League City grew from 83,560 people in 2010 to 114,392 in 2020 (Wikipedia), and city leaders expect it to keep growing for decades. Much of that growth is young families in new west-side neighborhoods like Westwood, Westland Ranch and the Duncan PUD (Community Impact). Here is how life in League City shapes the way you plan photos.
In 1907 George Butler and his son planted two flatcars of live oaks, and many still line Main Street. League Park, Walter Hall Park and Helen’s Garden all have century-old oaks too (League City Historical Society). If you take your own outdoor photos, open shade like that in the hour before sunset keeps everyone from squinting.
League Park hosts Holiday in the Park each holiday season, a free festival with one of the largest holiday parades in Galveston County (Community Impact). If you want family photos back in time for holiday cards, ask about dates in late summer, because my sessions often book months ahead.
UTMB’s League City Campus opened a labor and delivery unit with 11 birthing suites in 2016 (UTMB). Fresh 48 photos happen in the first two days, in the hospital or once you’re home. Put your due date and hospital in your inquiry so I can tell you what I can do.
