The boys and I went for a walk through the woods the other day. We found pine cones and bugs galore. A few bees. A red cardinal. Possibly a snake in canal, we didn’t get too close.
Flowers, rocks, leaves and poison ivy too. Gavin spotted a “baby tiger” and Ian a “bear.” We had so much fun on our little adventure, I’m so glad we did it before the sweltering heat and mosquitoes settle in for Summer!

What a wonderful day… One of The joys n advantages of schooling your children at home, spontaneous (or planned) field trips!
