The world outside is hushed and still,
A winter scene of frosty chill.
The droplets cling, a crystal sheen,
Reflecting all the world has seen.

Each droplet holds a tiny world,
Of branches, leaves, and sky unfurled.
The trees, oh look they bend and bough,
With frosty jewels on branch and brow.

And as the sun begins to rise,
The droplets make the light alive.
They twinkle like a thousand stars,
Diamonds set in golden bars.

So let us pause, and turn our eye,
Don’t let this moment pass us by.
For winter droplets on the grass,
Are nature’s art, unsurpassed.
