In early December, over Gavin’s birthday, we went cabin-camping at Bastrop State Park with our small group from church. Cool mornings and evenings, coffee around the campfire, kids running everywhere, lots of trail hiking and an overall good time with people we love doing life with! No pictures of the others, as some have a strict no-internet policy for their kiddos, but here’s some of my favorites of us. There’s just something so good for the soul, getting away from the daily grind and technology, it’s a reset button of sorts, and I love how everything slows down, and there’s no pressure to do anything but be present. What do you like to do to get away, what’s your “reset” button?
