Service area · Liverpool, Texas
Liverpool began as a trading post on Chocolate Bayou in 1827, years before Texas was a state, and it’s still a small, rural town of fewer than 500 people. I’m Jen Duke, and I photograph maternity, Fresh 48, newborn and family sessions for Liverpool parents who want honest, simple photos of their family to print and keep, with mom in the picture too.
Newborn sessions are in my natural-light home studio in Richwood. Fresh 48 can be at the hospital or at home, and family sessions can be at your place or outdoors. Each session comes with a digital gallery for downloads and prints.

Local to Liverpool
Liverpool was formally established in 1837 and named by Commodore Nelson after the English port. Goods from Stephen F. Austin’s colony shipped out of here on Chocolate Bayou, which still borders the town on the east. The 2020 census counted 475 people, and the whole city is classed as rural (Wikipedia). Here is how that shapes your photo plans.
Liverpool covers about a square mile with only 178 households, and its kids attend Alvin ISD schools (Wikipedia). If you have a porch, a yard or a big tree, that can be your backdrop. Family sessions can happen at home, so tell me what your place is like.
Camp Mohawk County Park is a 55-acre day-use park along Chocolate Bayou, with wooded picnic areas, a playground and bird watching (TravelAwaits). Woods like that give soft, even shade, which is the easiest light for your own family snapshots on a sunny day.
Liverpool is about 8 miles from Alvin and 14 miles from Angleton, the county seat (Wikipedia). Wherever you deliver, Fresh 48 photos can be at the hospital or at home. Put your hospital in your inquiry and I’ll let you know what works.
